Bamboos in colourful water crystals cubes

Instructions

1. In this demostration I only use a few cubes from each color - blue, green, red and orange.
2. Put the different colored cubes in different containers. Then gradually add clean water to each container. Note: DO NOT add water too quickly to keep the color concentrate. Food dye is used in coloring these cubes so if you add too much water too soon, the color will be diluted. So only add more water when the water in the container has already been soaked up.
3. Gradually add water to the container and soak the water crystal cubes for 12 hours.  The cubes will absorb the water and slowly expand, see water crystal cubes expansion in water for an illustration.
4. Clean the glass vase, make sure it is not dirty, arrange the spiral bamboo in the center of the vase and put the straight bamboo through the spiral one. Then gently lower the expanded cubes into the vase starting with blue, then red, green and finally orange colored cubes. Make sure excess water is rinsed out.
5. The cube are rather slippery and bouncy, and are softer and easier damage, so take care handling them.
6. I personally like the blue cubes, they look like ocean blue sitting at the bottom of the vase, they are just so amazing and cheerful.
7. If the cubes shrink then place them back in water and they will expand again. But bear in mind each time the water crystal cubes are soaked the color will be diluted.
8. This design is simple but yet very attractive and awesome, you can use single color or a mixture of colors in your design.
